Sibbaldia: The International Journal of Botanic Garden Horticulture & PlantNetwork will host a virtual conference ‘Promoting Excellence in Horticulture’ at the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh on 28-30 October 2020. The event will celebrate horticultural achievements and consider how excellent horticultural practice can be promoted across public gardens and designed landscapes – whether botanic, heritage or destination gardens.

As part of the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh’s 350th anniversary celebrations, the event will cover the past, present and future of horticultural practice. There will be opportunities to debate the role of horticulture in the curation and conservation of plants, garden heritage and plant health issues. The only prerequisite for attendance is an interest in horticulture!
