BGCI will be gave two webinars on the Global Botanic Garden Fund (GBGF), which aims to drive plant conservation and support botanic gardens in their missions. The GBGF is made up of a number of grants which aim to drive plant conservation, sustainability efforts, and global partnerships with a focus on botanic gardens and arboreta in biodiversity hotspots. The call for applications is now open, so join us to learn how to prepare a successful proposal.
Patricia Malcolm, (BGCI’s Head of Membership and Conservation Services) gave us a walk through all the opportunities available via the GBGF and Charlotte Ely (BGCI’s Conservation Services Officer) will provided with detailed information about the different parts of the application and reporting.
Webinars were hosted on two different days, to include all time zones. The talks were given in English and will be streamed live via Zoom on 4 June 2025 9:00 AM (BST) & 5 June 2025 16:00 PM (BST). The Webinar on the 5 June had simultaneous translation into Spanish. Watch it again here.
