On 26 February BGCI hosted an expert-led webinar exploring the critical aspects of phenology and propagation of Tanzania’s native tree species. This session featured two specialists in tree seeds and propagation (Dr. Heriel Msanga and Fandey Mashimba), who shared their knowledge on flowering and fruiting cycles, seed collection techniques, storage methods, and best practices for successful native tree species propagation.
This webinar provides practical insights to support the growth, conservation, and sustainable use of Tanzania’s native trees.
