The next session in the SEABG Technical Talk Series on 23 October 2025 (Thursday), 3-5pm Singapore time, will focus on the Global Conservation Consortium for Dipterocarps (GCCD).
To start, Mr. Dylan Fuller, BGCI’s GCC Manager, will give an overview of the various consortia, followed by a short video presentation spotlighting the GCC for Oak (GCCO).
Then, Dr. Wen-Bin Yu from the Xishuangbanna Tropical Botanical Garden (XTBG) will share the GCCD’s goals, activities, and progress over the last 5 years.
Finally, Dr. Charles Cannon from the Singapore Botanic Gardens will close out the session with a discussion on GCCD structure and membership, as well as an invitation to the upcoming Global Conservation Symposium for Dipterocarps, happening this November.
