The next issue of Roots will focus on Cultural heritage in botanic gardens. Cultural heritage in a botanic education context is about understanding identity and belonging, using cultural diversity to shape our storytelling, and encouraging intercultural dialogue to foster mutual respect and empower new voices. Have you been embedding cultural heritage in your programming? Do you have a project that has been working with local communities, or championing indigenous voices? What does cultural heritage mean to your work? We are currently looking for a variety of articles on this important topic.
Please send a 100-word abstract to Annelies by January 15.
