After a successful 11th International Congress on Education in Botanic Gardens (ICEBG) hosted in Seoul, South Korea from 9-13th June 2025, we are now looking to the future and where the event will take place next.

BGCI is pleased to announce that the 12th International Congress on Education in Botanic Gardens will take place in Leiden, The Netherlands in July 2028. This will be hosted by BGCI member Hortus Botanicus Leiden. The team in Leiden prepared a video (which was shown at the closing ceremony in Seoul) to provide a taster of what to expect.
