The next Horticulture Forum will feature Royal Botanic Gardens Victoria’s very own Lloyd O’Hanlon, horticulturist and curator of the Australian Forest Walk at Melbourne Gardens. He will be discussing a recent collecting trip to far north Queensland, the amazing flora and fauna of the region, and his hopes for the specimens collected in terms of conservation and the climate adaptation of Melbourne Gardens’ living collections. Put it in your calendar and register for the event here:

Date: 1300 AEDT 5 March

The link to join will be released at a later date.

And to keep you going until then, the previous Horticulture Forum is now available for viewing online.
The previous forum featured Kevin Martin, Head of Tree Collections and Arboriculture at Royal Botanic Gardens Kew, UK. He discusses the research undertaken to assess the impact of climate change on the tree collections at Kew Gardens, and the insights and actions that have arisen.
