The Cambridge Certificate in Botany is a month-long residential course at Cambridge University Botanic Garden focused on botany, systematics and comparative morphology.
Teaching combines lectures with hands-on practical training, including the examination of living plant material, botanical illustration, plant identification and field excursions. The course is led by expert staff from Cambridge University Botanic Garden and Herbarium, providing participants with direct access to world-class botanical collections.
The programme is designed for upper-level undergraduates, postgraduate students, post-doctoral researchers and professionals.
Applications should be submitted via the Cambridge University Botanic Garden website. Places are limited to 15 participants, with half board at Queens’ College subject to availability.
