BGCI is excited to be taking part in the BigGive #ChristmasChallenge again in December 2025.

The Christmas Challenge is the UK’s biggest collaborative fundraising campaign, championing a wide range of charitable organisations. Being part of the BigGive means that every donation made to our campaign via BigGive.org during the week of 2-9 December will be doubled. That’s right – DOUBLED.

So, whatever you can give, no matter the size, every donation will make double the difference in supporting botanic gardens through the Global Botanic Garden Fund (GBGF).

Small grants = Big impact

Our grants empower local action in botanic gardens, conserving irreplaceable biodiversity, and creating lasting conservation infrastructure. In many cases, they are the difference between extinction and survival.

Your donation will fund urgent plant conservation projects in the world’s most vulnerable regions—where biodiversity is rich, but resources are scarce.

The campaign will run between 2-9 December.
