Join the next edition of BGCI’s Webinar Series, co-hosted with the Crop Trust, which will look at the Food Forever campaign and the engagement opportunities that the campaign and new resources offer to botanic gardens about food diversity and resilience.

Food Forever is a campaign organised by The Crop Trust, which calls upon the global community to protect the vast, colourful spectrum of diversity within our food system. It is about investing in the future by protecting agricultural biodiversity, to ensure adequate nutritious food for all in a rapidly changing world.

In this webinar, we will launch a new digital exhibition that has been produced by the Food Forever and BGCI, as well as a previous exhibition toolkit that gardens can use to put on their own Food Forever exhibitions. The webinar will include a short introduction from the Crop Trust’s Executive Director, Stefan Schmitz and BGCI’s Secretary General, Paul Smith. This will be followed by a panel discussion with engagement colleagues from Royal Botanic Gardens Edinburgh, Hortus Botanicus Leiden and Royal Botanic Gardens Kew, who will each share their Food Forever experiences and discuss the important role and opportunities of botanic gardens to engage visitors with the Food Forever key messages.
