The deadlines for Abstract submissions and Scholarship applications for the 2026 Botanical Bridges Congress have been extended.

 

Abstract submissions

The deadline to submit abstracts has been extended to Tuesday 30 September 2025.

Share your research, experiences, and innovations in plant conservation and botanical garden work by submitting an abstract for consideration in symposia, oral presentations, or posters.

Key Dates

  • Abstract Submission Opens: April 15, 2025
  • Extended Deadline to Submit: End of September 2025 (updated from July 15)
  • Notification of Acceptance: October 2025

Presentations and abstracts may be submitted in English or Spanish. Live translation will be available throughout the congress.

Scholarship submissions

The Caribbean and Central American Botanic Garden Network (CCABGN), in collaboration with the Leon Levy Native Plant Preserve and BGCI, is pleased to offer scholarships to support attendance at the congress.

The deadline for scholarship applications to attend the Congress has been extended to Tuesday 30 September 2025.

Successful applicants will receive a scholarship of US$2,000 to put towards their Congress expenses, including transportation, visa and accommodation, for people who have submitted an abstract. The registration fee for the Congress is included in the scholarship.

Eligibility: Applicants must have submitted an abstract to be considered.
