-Ensure curatorial best practices, including field data collection, GPS mapping, accessioning, data entry, and labeling
-Coordinate development of the Living Collections Management System database, working as a liason between Horticulture staff and bioinformatics developers in the Information Technology Division
-Ensure accurate and consistent botanical nomenclature and taxonomy in Living Collections Management System, on labels, and in publications
-Manage the process of of acquiring permits and agreements needed to collect and/or import plants into the United States
