Doctor in Agricultural Science and Engineering from the University of Castilla-La Mancha (UCLM), Master in Environmental and Quality Management, Graduate in Biology from the University of Granada and senior technician in landscaping. From 2008 to 2011 I developed a relevant professional activity participating in research and conservation projects of threatened or endemic wild flora species at UCLM. In 2011 I became sole Curator of the Botanical Garden of Castilla-La Mancha (JBCLM) and of the JBCLM Germplasm Bank, currently declared as regional reference center in wild seed conservation for the Junta de Castilla-La Mancha (JCCM). I am also responsible for the ecological management of the JBCLM, having obtained recognition of ecological excellence, thus becoming the first botanical garden in southern Europe to achieve this. I hold membership in several scientific associations, both on my own behalf and on behalf of the JBCLM. Nowadays, I am part of the board of directors of the Ibero-Macaronesian Association of Botanical Gardens. I have complemented my work by collaborating with the research activity of the Botanical Institute of the UCLM. In addition to a role of regular advisor for the production of threatened flora of Castilla-La Mancha for the JCCM, and a lecturer in different degrees at the UCLM.
