The 2010 Challenge for Canadian Botanic Gardens: (PDF, 2.7 mb) This publication reviews the progress on plant conservation and education related to sustainability by botanical gardens, places the International Agenda for Botanic Gardens in Conservation and the Global Strategy for Plant Conservation into context, and indicates how Canadian gardens can contribute to achieving the 19 targets of the North American Strategy for Botanic Gardens in Conservation.
Plant for the Planet: A Plant conservation checklist for gardeners: (PDF, 362.3 kB) This brochure highlights simple conservation recommendations for gardeners, including knowing the laws that protect wild plants and their effects on gardening; avoiding invasive or potentially invasive species; and knowing the conservation status of species in their garden.
Canadian Botanical Gardens Conservation and Education: (PDF, 465.9 kB) Summary of Status and Needs: produced Mar 04, summary of consultations conducted in 2003 with 17 Canadian botanical gardens and arboreta to assess the status and needs related to plant conservation and biodiversity education programmes.
