About the Botanischer Garten Alpinum Schatzalp
The botanical garden Alpinum Schatzalp is located on 1850 m above sea in the heart of eastern swiss mountains. It is privately run through the Berghotel Schatzalp. A small staff works on 5 ha, cultivating a variety on around 5000 specimen and species. It is open from Mid Mai to end of October and has its peak flowering season ongoing starting at the end of june.
