About the Sculpture by the Lakes

South West England's premier sculpture park and garden set in 26 acres alongside Dorset's SSSI River Frome. Sculpture by the Lakes features three large lakes, wildlife ponds, small streams and meandering woodland paths, conservation areas and more formal gardens, as well as a quarter acre Kitchen Garden supplying our Cafe and Pantry with fresh produce. Holder of the National Collection of Forsythia as well as an extensive collection of rare and endangered trees and woody plants. Newly created in 2008 the garden has yet to show it's full potential but has an extensive and ongoing planting programme.
