Plant Collections

  • Special Collections:Folly Arboretum is a 5 ha collection of mainly gymnosperm plants, boasting to have approx. 300 taxa of pines, cedars, cypresses and junipers but also showing an additional 200 taxa of broadleaved trees and shrubs surrounded by colourful beds of flowering perennials. Most of the plants are from areas with warmer climates, and they thrive in the mild microclimate of this garden situated in a fundamentally temperate climate zone.
