The National Taiwan University (NTU) and Taiwan Forestry Research Institute (TFRI) are pleased to announce the 7th Asian Symposium of Ferns and Lycophytes (ASFL) to be held in NTU, Taipei, Taiwan, 16–18 October 2018. The ASFL is a meeting for pteridophyte scientists who work in Asia or working with Asian pteridophytes. This meeting provides an important opportunity to explore and share ideas, knowledge, techniques as well as networking. It is also a good opportunity for participants to visit the NTU herbarium (TAI), TFRI herbarium (TAIF) and Taipei Botanical Garden (TPGB), which includes a fern garden and several historical buildings. All scientists, students, and pteridophyte lovers are welcome to present their works either in oral or on posters.
