Horticulturists: National Botanic Garden of WalesThe National Botanic Garden of Wales was the first national botanic garden to be created in the new millennium, and has since become the most visited garden in Wales. Growing at a fast pace, the garden is a stimulating and demanding place to work. Horticulturists - Salary £15,000 paWe are currently seeking to recruit five new gardeners to join our existing team. One of these posts will be chiefly concerned with maintenance and development of the tree collection and grassed areas, and one with glasshouse and nursery/propagation work. The remaining three will be working on the ornamental borders and in the double walled garden, the purpose of which is to describe the evolution of flowering plants.
We may shortly also be recruiting horticultural staff for other areas of the garden as well as our four studentship placements, to commence in September 2008 (at a salary of c. £9000 plus free accommodation in a shared student house on site).
