Rockford Rock Opera: An Ecological Adventure Story
Featuring and scripted by Steve Punt, a respected BBC writer and performer, Rockford’s Rock Opera is a story about extinction and the effect man is having upon life on earth. A boy called Moog and his dog, Rockford, arrive on the mystical Island of Infinity, home to the last one of every extinct animal species. Here beneath a mystical swirling sky, live the world's lost creatures. And the creatures have a secret for the world. For more information visit www.rockfordsrockopera.com
Rockford's Rock Opera is not the creation of a global entertainment company. It is the work of award winning charitable entrepreneurs, 'Sweetapple' and a handful of dedicated people. Launched in December 2007, the Opera has been heard by over 50,000 people and is being used in 3,000 schools as a basis for teaching about extinction and the environment.
