Horticultural Internship Placement, Toledo

Toledo Botanical Garden is currently offering a Horticultural Internship Placement for six months, during the year 2008.

TBG seeks interns currently enrolled in a university curriculum in one or more of the following areas:  Horticulture, Landscape Gardening, Botany, Ecology or related field.  

International students are welcome to apply and would be sponsored through the Ohio State University International Exchange Program (http://top.osu.edu/). Internships are usually for a 6 month period. Accomodation is available.

Requirements

  • Minimum Qualifications: Currently enrolled in a university curriculum or a recent graduate in one or more of the following areas:  Horticulture, Landscape Gardening, Botany, Ecology or related field. 
  • Applicants must have ability to operate gardening, mowing and utility equipment; to handle the many physical demands of gardening, including occasional heavy lifting.
  • Valid Driver's License.
