Student Research in Plant Biology and Conservation SymposiumSaturday, October 18, 2008. 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
CHICAGO, USAThe Chicago Botanic Garden is pleased to host the second annual Plant Biology and Conservation Symposium especially for graduate and undergraduate students. This will be a day-long event focused on providing students with an early opportunity to present their research to colleagues. It is a wonderful chance for students with related interests and concerns to learn about the research of others, make contacts, and present their own work in a collegial and low-stress environment. The event will close with an invited keynote speaker who is distinguished in the field of plant biology and conservation. We are accepting abstracts for either posters or 15-minute oral presentations. Registration is open to anyone interested in plant ecology and evolution. Anyone wishing to present at this symposium must submit an abstract to the Program Chair before Mar 14, 2008. Registration: $59/$74 - Registraton for full-time students with a photo ID: $29 |
