We would like to warmly invite you to Erfurt , the cultural heart of Germany , for the 3rd Conference of the Competence Network Urban Ecology from 21-24 May 2008.

Our international conference “Urban Biodiversity and Design - Implementing the Convention of Biological Diversity in towns and cities” will summarise for the first time in a global context current scientific and practical approaches of implementing the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD) in urban areas.

The 2nd Announcement “Call for Papers" is now online: www.urbio2008.com. Abstracts can be submitted until 15th November 2007.
