IX Simpósio AIMJB (Botanical Gardens)

Decorrente das grandes viagens do séc. XVI, o conhecimento da biodiversidade dos “novos mundos” levou à tentativa de adaptação na Europa de espécies exóticas, surgindo em Itália os primeiros Jardins Botânicos. Estes jardins têm tido um papel fundamental na preservação, estudo e mostra da fitodiversidade.
