Winners announced - Fairchild Challenge/BGCI Global Competition 2012
16th May 2012
Hundreds of young people in Bulgaria, China, Greece, Peru, UK and USA took part in the 2012 Fairchild Challenge/BGCI Global Competition. They were challenged to research plants that represented their country’s biodiversity and then create a stunning wreath fit for an Olympic athlete. We were enormously impressed by the quality of their entries and their imaginative responses to this year's Fairchild Challenge/BGCI Global Competition. It was clear to us that a great deal of research and careful thought had gone into their projects. All of them deserve our congratulations. This presented us with a very considerable challenge of our own, namely to find a winner from among these magnificent entries. After much deliberation, we have however come to a decision and are delighted to announce this year's top three entries. Click here to find out! |
