CBE for Services to Plant Conservation

Professor Stephen Blackmore, has been awarded a CBE (Commander of the British Empire) by the reigning British monarch, Queen Elizabeth II, in the 2011 New Year's Honours List. The CBE is part of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire.

Professor Blackmore is part of BGCI's Advisory Group, and he was also honoured by the Queen in September 2010 when he received the Royal Warrant.
