The Global Partnership for Plant Conservation's Plants 2010 conference will bring together plant conservation scientists, policy makers and practitioners from throughout the world to share methods and results that will advance plant conservation measurably. Delegates will provide and share experiences in plant conservation, in support of the implementation of the Global Strategy for Plant Conservation (GSPC). We hope that the conference will attract a wide range of participants to share their experiences and further the development of plant conservation. This Global Partnership for Plant Conservation event, hosted by The National Botanic Gardens of Ireland, Glasnevin, Dublin, Ireland, is supported by:

  • Documented case studies of GSPC implementation at national and regional levels
  • Identification of elements of the toolkit and contributions towards this

  • Review of the programme of activities of the GPPC
  • Consensus on the Working Practices for the Partnership
  • Identification of gaps and priorities for the Partnership
  • Guidance on developing resource mobilisation strategies
