Our UNDP/GEF project to establish two new national parks and three wildlife corridors in Guinea-Bissau is being implemented by IBAP and in need of a Portuguese-Speaking expert in West African flora to conduct the following:

2.    Conducting a flora characterization-type survey at reconnaissance scale for broad PA management planning (veg./habitat map for the parks and corridors).
3.    Biomass or quantification for different vegetation types for the purposes of delineating sustainable harvest levels and possibly future carbon trading.

We would like this individual to start in Sept./October 2013 toward the end of the rainy season.
