CHICAGO BOTANIC GARDEN


Dear Colleague,

The Chicago Botanic Garden and the American Horticultural Therapy Association is hosting a national conference October 13-16, 2010 at the Chicago Botanic Garden in Glencoe, Illinois.  We invite you to submit a proposal or attend the national conference “In our Nature”.  Please see the RFP for further details.  Please share this with other colleagues that might be interested in the conference.   We encourage you to collaborate with other institutions or colleagues.  Proposals are due by April 15, 2010.

This conference is an ideal venue for Pre-K through high school educators, school administrators, parent volunteers, therapists (occupational, behavioral and horticulture therapy), and doctors who work with children with disabilities.  On Saturday, October 16th we are featuring multi-sensory garden activities, the Buehler Enabling Garden, Sensory Garden, and the Greenhouses.
