We invite you to take part in work of the International botanical conference “Natural protection value Botanical Gardens at the modern stage” that will be organized in Mardakan Arboretum Academy Sciences of Azerbaijan Republic 24 – 27 September, Baku 2010

Conference will be carried out in the following themes:

  1. The introduction of the problem in plant acclimatization
  2. The vegetative resources of the Caspian region
  3. The study on how to save rare species and gene pool
  4. The problem of modern recreation
  5. The benefit of vegetable resources to the economy
  6. The study of the city ecosystem and the question of gardening generation

It plans to carry out excursions and exposition during the conference in the main botanical garden, Mardakan Arboretum.

Requirements of materials for publication

Volume of materials - up to 4 pages, format А4 in Russian and English languages.

In a headline - the name of the report, the initials and a surname of the author (authors), the name of establishment (with the full address, name of city and country) and e-mail.

The text should be typed in WinWord, in format RTF. Parameters of page: the top, bottom and right fields - 2 cm, left - 3 cm. Printing Type - Times New Roman, 12 points. Latin names to italicize. Registration of paragraphs: alignment on width, a line spacing one-and-a-half.

Materials are necessary for presenting in electronic (by e-mail or on a diskette) and printed variants (2 copies).

The organizing committee reserves the right to reject the materials which are not corresponding to subjects of conference.

For participation in work of conference it is necessary to send by 15 June 2010 to the address of the organizing committee the registration form and text of published materials.

Working languages of conference: Azerbaijan, Russian and English.

Registration fee up until the end of May $100; after May $150

Accomodation costs depends on type of hotel selected. Typical price range is $50-200 per night
