The Oak - Ecology History, Management and Planning II

ISPARTA, TURKEY

Announcement a second European conference about the value and management of oak-rich, cultural landscapes which will take place in southern Turkey in June 2010.

The conference is jointly organised by Suleyman Demirel University, Isparta, Turkey, Adiyaman University, Adiyaman, Turkey and Linköping University, Linköping, Sweden.

The aim of the conference is to bring together specialists from different countries and disciplines to share information and current research concerning the importance of oak trees - their past, present and future contribution to European heritage, biodiversity, landscapes, tourism and the silvopastoral* economy.
