3rd Global Botanic Gardens Congress - Conclusions

On the basis of reports from each symposium session, conclusions from the congress were presented at the end of the congress. These focused around the four main themes of the Congress:

For each theme, the conclusions highlight the main achievements presented at the congress, challenges remaining to be addressed and recommendations for future actions. These conclusions will form the basis of a document to be presented to the Executive Secretary of the Convention on Biological Diversity as a contribution to the in-depth review it is presently undertaking of the Global Strategy for Plant Conservation.
