Get ready for the Olympics

Showcase your work in plant conservation during the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing this August.  A poster exhibition will highlight the practical work of botanic gardens in areas such as linking livelihoods and plant conservation, addressing climate change, educational programmes and policy work (e.g. national GSPC strategies and action plans).  The exhibition is being organised by the Science Network of the Botanic Gardens of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) in collaboration with the Beijing Municipal Science and Technology Committee and BGCI.  Click here to read the invitation letter.

Interested gardens are requested to send a confirmation notice directly to Ms Tang at by 30 April 2008.  The poster content must reach Ms Tang by 30 May 2008.  If you would like to send other publicity materials about your garden, these documents must reach the address provided in the instructions by 20 June 2008.
