  • Special Collections:A city garden is being created at Malva permaculture with the purpose of avoiding the disappearance of native species already endangered. Malva has a past of more than a decade of organic farming and in the last years has payed attention to permaculture and climate change practices.
Agricultural biodiversity conservation is one of the stronghold (milestone) of Malva Permaculture. Through agroforestry farm system the preservation of wild animals and native trees occurs. Carbon fixation is maintained in the whole farm with trees and abundance of weeds, through the concept of carbon farming.
A food forest was recently established, with drought tolerant plants as Aronia and N-fixators as Sambucus spp.
Pinus rubia, Juglans regia, Fraxinus excelsium, Ulmus glabra, Cedrus atlantica are among species that are being conserved . There are beautiful individuals of Melia azadirachta.
