About the Innisfree Farm and Botanic Garden

The Botanic Garden is run by a medical herbalist and a retired soil scientist, using probiotic techniques of building healthy soil microbiota to grow medicinal herbs for a herbal medicine clinic, as well as vegetables, fruits and nuts for sale at our seasonal farm shop.

We have over 250 medicinal plants arranged in display gardens by uses - herbs for the heart, the lungs, the kidneys and so on. The gardens also feature a wheel chair accessible labyrinth, a pond, a sculpture garden and an extensive raised bed vegetable garden.
