About the Mobile Botanical Gardens

Located in the heart of Mobile, the Mobile Botanical Gardens - a 501(c)3 organization, was established in 1974 by a group of horticulturists to preserve the natural aspects of the local environment. Within its 100 acres are a Camellia Winter Garden, Fern Glade, Fragrance and Texture Garden, Herb Garden, Japanese Maple Garden, Rhododendron Garden, and collections of hollies, magnolias, roses, and perennials, as well as a 27 acre longleaf pine habitat.
