About the Botanic Garden "Botania"

Botania is the only Tropical Butterfly Garden in Finland.
The garden is managed by Friends of Botania registered association. Its task is both to provide a wonderful experience for the general public,but also to support the education and research of biology and forestry. In co-operation with the city of Joensuu it also has a 73-hectare Arboretum.
