  • Special Collections:The JARDIN DES SERRES D’AUTEUIL exhibits exotic plants from tropical regions in the greenhouses and plants from temperate regions outside in the landscaping. More than a hectare of greenhouses are dedicated to the presentation and conservation of botanical collections (Araceae, Bromeliaceae, Peperomia, Hoya, Begonia, ferns, tropical orchids, palms,…).
The ecosystem reconstructions and thematic presentations highlight the amazing adaptations of plants and their uses by humans on different continents (Plants of New Caledonia, collection dedicated to mineral shrub land; Plants of Sahel )

BAGATELLE: The International Competition of New Roses is open to all amateur or professional breeders of new, non-commercialized roses. A technical committee traditionally comes together to rate the rosebushes five times during two seasons.
The park was home to several horticultural collections and expositions collections over the years. Now, there are a dozen horticultural and botanical collections of temperate climate plants : about 1200 varieties of modern roses in the landscape rose garden and in the classic rose garden, bulbs, Mediterranean plants, edible plants, aquatic plants, clematis, peonies, asters, pelargoniums, …

The PARC FLORAL showcases regional flora in landscaped gardens and natural landscapes representative of endangered ecosystems. Its “Evolution Path” allows guests to discover the long history of plants. It also has important botanical and horticultural collections outside (regional plants, medicinal plants, hardy ferns, peonies, geraniums, iris, dahlia, pelargoniums,…) and in pavilions (plants of the Jurassic, climbing plants, bonsai,…). The park was home to several horticultural collections and expositions collections over the years. At the beginning of spring, the pine forest is illuminated by the bright colors of the rhododendrons. In the Hydrangea garden, from July to September, next to the classic hydrangeas one can also see the hydrangeas of Brittany.
Since 1987, an International Competition of dahlias is open to all amateur or professional breeders of dahlias, non-commercialized or less than five years-commercialize. Since 2013, the S.F.I.B. organised at the Park Floral an international competition of iris.

ARBORETUM: This urban arboretum showcases more than 500 species of trees from Parisian region forests and from the entire world that are adapted to the Parisian climate (Sequoiadendron giganteum, Cedruslibani, Davidia involucrata, Pinus bungeana, Pinus coulteri, Ulmus chenmoui…). The presentation according to the botanical classification allows one to learn how to identify different tree species. The recreated environments and ecosystems, such as hedgerows of native shrubs, ponds, reed beds, and other wetlands, diversify the landscape and enrich the biodiversity.
