About the Forestry Research Institute of Nigeria (FRIN) - Herbal Garden

The FRIN herbal garden is established for conservation of endangered medicinal plant species in Nigeria such as Pausynatalia Johimbe, Clausena anisata, pericopsis elata, Brachystegia spp. amongst others. Some of the conserved species in the garden are subjected to screening on various ailments to justify their folkloric claims.
