About the Ringve Botanical Garden

Ringve Botanical Garden is part of the NTNU University Museum and opened in 1973. It is situated 3 km northeast of Trondheim city centre. The garden is 13 hectares and includes six main plant collections, as well as ornamental plantings surrounding the Ringve estate, which is now Ringve Music Museum. The plant collections are important for conservation, education, research, and for public engagement & enjoyment.
