About the University of California, Irvine Arboretum and Herbarium

The UCI Arboretum provides the most comprehensive introduction to the unique flora of coastal California from Irvine south into Mexico. There is also a strong emphasis at the UCI Arboretum on the plant communities that occur in the Irvine area. The other main emphasis of the UCI Arboretum is the plants of southern Africa.
