Biodiversity Workshops in ChinaA series of training workshops on biodiversity conservation and education for China botanic gardens are planned for the next 4 years. The workshops will train staff in conservation techniques, information technology, botanic garden management and environmental education methods and interpretation.
International Diploma in Botanic Garden Education 2008BGCI and the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew have developed an international diploma course in education for botanic garden staff. The course will equip participants with the education skills and strategies to get their message across effectively to varied audiences. Training in Botanic GardensBotanic gardens have an important role to play in building capacity for plant conservation by providing training for garden staff and for local, national and international participants.
