Limbe Botanic Gardens Policies and AgreementsFollowing on from its involvement in the Principles project, Limbe Botanic Gardens in Cameroon has developed its own policy on Access to Genetic Resources and Benefit-sharing, as well as a suite of documents to guide collaborative research, acquisition and supply of material. Multiple Projects Improving Livelihoods At LimbeLimbe Botanic Garden (LBG) in Cameroon runs many activities linking biodiversity research and development. Since 1992 Limbe has run a programme to domesticate some local ornamental species, with the aim of developing low technology cultivation techniques to transfer tto local communities. |
